[iOS][Discover] Restore Touch Preview on iOS App

Touch preview removal on last iOS vers. update looks like it hasn't been a great idea. You are on time to restore it, one of the best Spotify features.

I am on ios 11.3.1, iPhone 6. I am familar with the touchpreview feature that was taken away from us and posted much earlier in this thread about it. It's not exactly the same. With the original feature you had to hold down on top of the thumbnail, and then you could slide your finger up and down to preview various songs. This time, you tap the thumbnail (and let go) as I described earlier. Someone posted last week that it was working again, and I tried it at that time and didn't see what I see today. I'm 99% sure that this feature was not turned on for me over the past few days (I updated on May 16). The triangles are hard to miss. I only tried it again today because I saw the new post. Why am I not being able to find the new preview feature? It is not on my device. Started to see messages about it, just updated my iOS and Spotify version and nothing!! Aaagh

I still miss this feature to this day. I wish it would come back because it was extremely helpful to both find new music and easily identify songs without having to leave my current playlist.

PlEASE BRING BACK TOUCH PREVIEW!!!! How am I supposed to find the song I'm searching for? How am in supposed to share a preview of a song with a friend? How am I supposed to get the feel of a playlist if I can preview the songs on it?

I can spend hours just using the feature. I love to scroll through my playlists or new playlists I find and just listen to the previews. I know that Spotify is coming up with new ways for users, especially free users, to discover new songs. However, I use the touch feature for this: If the preview sound good then I'll play it. What is also annoying now is that i can't preview a song while listening to another song. Instead I must play the song then have to go back to the song I was originally listening to.

I appreciate Spotify and its efforts to appeal to listeners, but I don't understand this removal. On other applications, like Apple Music, you can listen to previews. 

This is preview feature is the reason I'm on Spotify so often, finding new songs, listening to previews, and editing my playlists. Without this feature, I know my time on Spotify will dramatically decrease. I'm not the kind of user that can just listen to music.when I'm listening on Spotify I'm also discovering new songs or searching different artists. The preview feature is necessary for this. 

Ultimately, please bring back some way I can preview songs. There is no point in using Spotify without it, especially for free users.

Still works for me, but it only allows you to preview songs in playlists. If I know the name of the song, search for it, and see it in the list, I can’t preview it directly.
