Touch preview removal on last iOS vers. update looks like it hasn't been a great idea. You are on time to restore it, one of the best Spotify features.

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea!

 

This feature was originally removed from the app due to low engagement. There was a statement at the time which you can check out at https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Touch-Preview-on-iOS-removal/td-p/1857905.

 

We're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now', as it's not something we have any immediate plans to add back onto the app.

 

If we do have any new info to share we'll check back in here with a new status.

Bring back touch preview! A good reason why there was low usage could be because people didnt know about it. Most people who have spotify that I showed that feature to wowed in amazement that they could do that and the there next statement would be "i didnt know it could do that". Please bring it back, it makes spotify even more there has to be a better way to market the feature may be in a email to spotify users or a online or tv commercial there has to be a way to keep this feature.

This was one of my favorite features! I used it every single time I opened the app. Great for seeing if I'm interested in a song I don't know before I listen. Please add this back!

It's the next dissappointment in a row this year. It's like removibg shuffle for folders. Without information for your custumers! What comes next? Removing library and its check button would fit in your strategy of dissappointing customers. Do it and people ask themselves to switch to apple music or any other keyplayer on the market.

La touch preview era una delle opzioni piu comode nell' utilizzo dell'app mai messe che contraddistingueva spotify dalle altre app sul mercato.. non capisco il motivo per cui è stata tolta. Da rinserire assolutamente in un nuovo aggiornamento.

 Apparently it wasn't used often enough to warrant it still being coded in. Would love to see it come back and be on Android though.
