[iOS][Discover] Restore Touch Preview on iOS App

Touch preview removal on last iOS vers. update looks like it hasn't been a great idea. You are on time to restore it, one of the best Spotify features.

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea!

 

This feature was originally removed from the app due to low engagement. There was a statement at the time which you can check out at https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Touch-Preview-on-iOS-removal/td-p/1857905.

 

We're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now', as it's not something we have any immediate plans to add back onto the app.

 

If we do have any new info to share we'll check back in here with a new status.

This was one of the best features around and set Spotify apart, quickly find new bands, similar styles quickly and easily. I miss this feature massively. Very surprised people weren't using it?? I hope you bring it back!!

This was one of my favourite features - whenever I showed a friend they were surprised and started using it themselves. The low engagement rate was due to people not knowing about it, even I discovered it by accident. I fail to see how if a feature is used to a low volume that warrants it being removed? This action has by no means improved the Spotify usability by any metric other than perhaps making the app a few bits lighter. I’d love to see touch preview return, If I heard another platform were adopting it i’d Consider jumping ship. I’d urge a reconsider on this move.

Touch feature was great! Low usage is almost certainly due to lack of knowing about this wonderful feature. If people knew I’m sure it would be used quite often. I just stumbled upon it by accident and fell in love immediately with touch preview!!

In any event, why remove?? Bad move. Lots of unhappy customers.

I think they got rid of touch preview for a reason other than low usage. It sure seems like a lot of people liked and used the feature. Hey Spotify. How about you tell us the real reason

Seriously? It's like asking if you'd like some oxygen to be able to breath. 

Spotify Team, please be mature about your decisions and either tell us the reason or just restore this asap.

Are you f*cking mad?! The preview feature was the only way for me to find new music! I’ve streamed way less music after it was removed, I’m not finding any new songs anymore. You f*cked up big time, horrible decision!

How many complaints is it going to take to put this feature back? Or rather, how many unsubscribes?! Restore it already! GEEZ!
