[iOS] Implement Native HomePod Support

Details

Just this week at WWDC (June 22, 2020), Apple announced support for third party music services on the HomePod.  I'm requesting that Spotify implement native support for the HomePod such that one or even multiple HomePods will appear in the "Connect to a device" menu on any Apple device WITHOUT having to connect through Airplay.  This will also allow users to ask Siri to play songs from Spotify on their HomePod(s).

Apple is opening up the HomePod, and I know there are many other HomePod users that would love to have native Spotify support on their speaker.

Can Spotify just add this feature please! I’m tired using 2 streaming platform just because I owned HomePod…

C’mon Spotify, native third party streaming support for HomePod was introduced back in October yet your app is still not updated to support it? This issue coupled with the price increase are making it more likely that I will just switch to Apple Music for a more streamlined experience. It was understandable when Apple didn’t support it, but 6+ months and no support still?

Let’s go Spotify. Get with it! About to switch to Apple Music.

Yeah, I'm about to pull the pin on my family account. It's ridiculous that this isn't supported yet.

The most amazing thing to me is still that THIS WAS SPOTIFY'S IDEA.

I’m sure this has already been said numerous times, but I will repeat it for all the program managers at Spotify in hopes that one more comment will reenforce how important this feature is to users.

I have avoided Apple Music at all costs because thus far I have enjoyed using Spotify but after purchasing a HomePod mini I have been continuously annoyed that I cannot simply tell Siri to play music without using my phone or watch.

The clock is ticking Spotify. It’s time to implement this feature.

Spotify, your time has come! 😊 Today I bought HomePod mini. Now I'm waiting for native support! 😉

Apple Musik ist more and more

Apple music is developing better and better. There is hardly any reason not to switch if the support for Apples Homepod does not come.

Yay... even more fun.  This is just NEVER going to happen:

Cancelled and Subbed to Apple One. Seriously, **bleep** off Spotify, crying wolf while ignoring the customer base of the very platform it's on for over a year on an API Apple readily makes available, you're a joke
