[iOS] Implement Native HomePod Support

Just this week at WWDC (June 22, 2020), Apple announced support for third party music services on the HomePod.  I'm requesting that Spotify implement native support for the HomePod such that one or even multiple HomePods will appear in the "Connect to a device" menu on any Apple device WITHOUT having to connect through Airplay.  This will also allow users to ask Siri to play songs from Spotify on their HomePod(s). 

Apple is opening up the HomePod, and I know there are many other HomePod users that would love to have native Spotify support on their speaker.

Please upvote this idea to garner attention for it.  Thank you Spotify and the Spotify community.  Let's get this implemented so it's ready for general iOS 14 release this September!

Unbelievable that this feature isn’t available and that we have to vote for it. Surely some things are just a given ....

It's really a shame that Spotify is not integrated on the HomePod and that its not even offering native AirPlay 2 support in its Apps across platforms. 

I really hope they will support Spotify Connect on HomePod soon, it would be such a game changer. Even more so since the HomePod mini seems very popular. They should not just leave the field to AppleMusic here!

as apple doesn't promote the HomePod integration the "normal user" will not recognise that it is possible to integrate with homepod. So think about the multiplier for the votes!

Is it 10 or 100 times? This is a homework for the business guys! Is 21k votes or 210k votes Ok to implement this feature? We will cancel our account with out this feature!

It is interesting that the word they use in the Spotify settings is Assistants which means they expect there to be more than one. I wonder if they will slide it in quietly, or to great fanfare, or keep up their current strategy of silence and non-engagement.

Native (multi-room) spotify support would be AMAZING!  What more do we have to do to BEG for this feature?  I loathe Apple Music, it's just not there.  Your service is much superior please bring it to one of the best sounding speakers we have available.

Yes 2 kinds of integration

- Spotify Connect to make homepod self playing and save iPhone battery life

- full Siri integration to allow " Siri play my favorite morning playlist "

Good decision. I’m really glad we did the same. This way of running a business, effectively by treating customers like minions leaves a bitter taste. Each and every person that has taken the time to contribute to this conversation has reached out to Spotify and have subsequently wasted their time and been ignored, consciously.  Even if it was introduced tomorrow (I hope so for those of you still loyal) I wouldn’t go back for a long time, if ever. Questionable ethics.
