Audio quality / Sound volume issues on Playstation 5 App

Hey folks!

We're aware of volume issues with the Spotify app on PS5 after a recent update, mainly that the volume output is too low. This is currently being investigated.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your patience and input so far.

We're setting this issue to Not Right Now as we're unable to provide an exact timeline for a fix at this moment. However, rest assured this will remain on our internal teams' radar and we'll check back in here with a new status when we have any new information to share.

In the meantime, make sure to always keep the app up to date.

Take care.

For some reason I don’t think developers are looking forward to fix the low volume on ps5.

im pretty sure they know that it’s an issue and they still don’t want to do it not like they didn’t know about it.

it’s been years since the native app came out with alot of issues and surely the low volume wasn’t an issue but attended by them

even if you proof that to them and show them it’s badly low volume after a certain update they might give you attention so you feel served but then never do anything about it

Like just check Apple Music or just play music by an usb and see the difference, it’s pretty obvious that Spotify running poorly but also they can’t be dumb enough to not notice it unless they’re deaf people

@Chu-

yeah, Spotify is enshittifying at a rapid pace. At this point I’m about to make the switch to Apple Music and I’ve been using Spotify for a very, very long time. It’s not just this issue, but many others. The company doesn’t seem to care at all about their customers and even less about musicians. They desperately need a new CEO who cares about more than their personal wealth.
