Downtime July 22nd, 2025: Can't login to Spotify Kids

We're receiving reports mentioning that Spotify Kids is having some issues to let the users log in. This is already being investigated internally by the relevant teams. Thanks for your reports.

I  contacted support to report the issue. The response was:

"Upon checking, I see that this is a technical issue and this should be fixed very soon. Thanks for reporting this. We’re aware of the issue so our teams are working on the case as we speak. Hopefully we'll have a fix soon! Be sure to keep automatic updates switched on so you get the fix when it’s ready: https://support.spotify.com/article/updating-spotify/. So they are aware and working on it, we just have to be patient while they figure out what broke and how to fix it.

Same issue (located in US). Just started this morning.

Same issue here, also in USA. Both of my kids’ accounts on separate devices were logged out without prompt. the same error is popping up when I try to log them back in.

Same issue with Germany here. Can't log in into the Spotify kids app. I'm on a Premium Family plan, and the devices are both Samsung (A3 and A40) Android phones

My Question or Issue

My child has Spotify Kids and it was working great and then today they tell me that it’s not working anymore. I try to log in with my phone and it’s telling me that Kids isn’t available in my country or region but we live in the USA and looking up it says that it should work. What am I doing wrong?

I’m having the same issue in Ireland. Was working yesterday and I’ve checked my account details and it’s set to Ireland and I’m currently in Ireland. 

any ideas before the kids go rogue 😂😂

i am having this problem on Spotify kids. We haven’t changed anything, but one of our kids apps is giving this error. Help?
