[MacOS] Desktop app crashing, Home page not loading

We've received reports from Mac users that the desktop app crashes and the Home page refuses to load - an error message "Something went wrong" is displayed instead.

 

This is being investigated.

Issue: It doesn't open the home page, just the message "Something went wrong."
This problem started after updating to the latest version of MacOS: Sonoma 14.0.
For now, I'm using the web player which works normally.

Troubleshooting:

1. Restarting the app

2. Refreshing the app

Apparently they fixed it on the server side. I'm still with 1.2.21.1104.g42cf0a50, but now the home screen works again:

It is working for me again too (Spotify for macOS (Intel), 1.2.21.1104.g42cf0a50).
