[iOS] Playlists appears empty

We're seeing reports that some users are unable to see songs in playlists - both on their own playlists and in Spotify-curated playlists.

 

This seems to be affecting iOS mobile devices only.

Hey everyone,

 

We're currently investigating this, and to help our tech teams look into this further, it would also be great if you could send us the following (if you haven't already):

 

  • The make & model of your device.
  • Current OS version.
  • Exact Spotify version.
  • Does the issue persist on the Web Player?
  • Have you interacted with our age verification flow anytime in the recent past?

In the meantime, feel free to give the workarounds suggested by @djones22 in this comment and by @anton25360 in the reply here a try 🙂

I am also facing this issue. Performing a clean reinstall did not fix it. I am using version 9.0.40.506

I am also facing the same issue for over a week. Have deleted and rebooted, performing a clean reinstall the app did not fix it. I can still use the Spotify iOS app on my iPad just fine, only on my iPhone it is not displaying any songs.

This is now being investigated by the team in charge. Could you share the following info?

 

  • Spotify version you have installed
  • Exact device make and model.
  • You device exact iOS version

My Question or Issue

Last week all my music disappeared. I saw on a forum here that it might be because my country information is not up to date. I’ve switched plans and moved to a payment method that matches the country I am currently in and I still don’t have any music or playlists on my phone. I have done a hard reset 3 times, cleared the cache and updated my iOS to the most recent one available. I have enough space too. I still have the music on my other devices so I don’t think it is an account issue. But please this is really upsetting me. Help.

Free plan brand new iPhone 16E. All my music is black nothing will play whether it’s a playlist or a random artist. I already tried deleting and reinstalling app, restarting, clearing cache. WiFi is working and i have no filter. 

how can i get music to start playing? Was not expecting an issue with a brand new iPhone
