Discover Weekly not updating

We're getting reports stating that Discover Weekly isn't updating properly across various devices, with this week's list being almost identical to that of last week. While most people are reporting this only for this week, some say it has been happening for longer.

My Discovery Weekly has been reusing 25 songs or so for the past 3 weeks, does anyone else have this issue? And if so has anyone found a fix?

My Discover Weekly of this monday is useless, it has nine songs already present in the last DW and also artists that where featured in the last week DW. I experienced this issue in the past and it's very boring, i hope you can fix it ASAP. I pay for Spotify, i would like to have this feature working properly!

Hi everyone,

I'm a long time spotify user and almost religious listener of the Discover Weekly playlist. I even have all the discover weekly songs added to a different compilation playlist every week.

Well, this week something that's never happened to me before occurred. I got a copy of last weeks discovery in a different order.

Is there anyway to get a new list for the week, has anyone had this happen before and are there any answers as to why this could happen?

Hey dude, troubles also for me, only 21 over 30 tracks were new, nine tracks where likes from last week, and i also got some repetitions. I had this problem i guess back in 2022, it was slowly solved, but it's a PITA... i've tried blocking artist i don't like and disliking some of the repeated tracks, let's see what happens. Anyway unacceptable since people like me pays pro most for this function!

Mine has multiple repeats from last week’s playlist. This is the first time it’s happened to me. Hopefully it’s a glitch that’ll be sorted by next Monday.

Since many of you reached out to us at the same time, something's definitely up there and we'd love to take a closer look. We've been able to reproduce this on our end as well.

Could you please provide us the following:

• Is this on all devices or only on specific one(s)? Please confirm if you see the exact same Discover Weekly list across all of your devices, including the web player.
• When did this start happening? We're noticing varying reports from all of you, so we're trying to narrow down a possible root cause.
• The exact makes, models and OS/Firmware versions of all your affected devices
• The exact Spotify Versions you use.

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.

I have this issue on all devices (app on my iPhone 14 iOS 18.4.1 - Spotify v 9.0.40.506, app on macOS Sequoia 15.4.1 : Spotify v. 1.2.62.580.gb27ad23e and also web player)

Funny thing is, that on my morning trip (around 9:00 I had different songs in discovery weekly) than on my way back (around 10:30). This never happened to me before, and I listen to discovery weekly every Monday. Around 9 there were different songs than last week, but around 10:30 there were the same as I had last week.

Why is Discover Weekly so boring and repetitive? Itused to be so good, now it seems it is a repetition of what I was listening to in 2019.

Same issue, tried deleting and re-installing the app, turning the phone on and off, logging on and off. Nothing changes. Following, hope there is a fix soon
