Hey folks,

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone! Just make sure you're not using a VPN and your app is updated to the latest version.

If you're still having trouble, make sure to post a new thread in the relevant help board here.

Thanks!

I am currently experiencing the same problem !!!

Seems like it was a temporary server issue of some sort, it works fine now!

The issue was solved for me after I completely uninstalled spotify, restarted my pc and downloaded it again.
Still infuriating that this is the only solution i could find but atleast everything works now.

Hey @headbanger5678-,

Could you let us know if you're using the Web Player or the mobile Spotify app on your Chromebook?

And @WineSauce, is your desktop app downloaded via the Microsoft app store or from our website?
Try performing these steps for a complete clean reinstall of the app and at the end install the version of the app you currently don't have. See if there's any difference. If there isn't, try disabling the Hardware Acceleration setting:

Hope this helps! We'll be on the lookout for your replies 🙂

Same problem, I can't search for anything. Double clic on any album on the left bar still starts playing it though.

qoda

Indeed! It all of the sudden works now.
