Block Joe Rogan Podcast

I've already voted for the idea to allow a disable toggle for podcasts so I stop getting them inserted into recommended playlists, but how do I block a specific podcast?

The home screen of the Mac Desktop app has become a continuous advertisement for the Joe Rogan podcast, which I do not want to see nor want any chance to accidentally click on. How do I get this trash off of my home page? I'm already not thrilled with some of the podcast hosts Spotify advertises and seriously considering cancelling my subscription entirely, and forcing me to look at this stuff every time I open the app is just abother reason to get away from the whole platform.

You don't shove a whole row of music I don't like at the top of my home screen, why am I seeing a whole row dedicated to Rogan before any of my own actual preferred content?

For now it's not possible to block certain podcast shows, however, we recommend having a look at this Live Idea suggesting the implementation of an option allowing users to perform this action within the Spotify app.  

You can support the idea by adding your +VOTE and clicking on Subscribe in the three-dots menu at the top right corner next to the title. That'll make sure you stay up-to-date with any relevant updates about this. It’s also worth knowing that the higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for the idea to be implemented. 

We always take new ideas and feedback into consideration to improve the app. Here you can read more on how ideas work.

My Question or Issue I demand to be able to block The Joe Rogan Experience. How can I do that? I clicked the three dots, but the block or "Don't play this artist" - function does not appear. Why? How else can I protect myself from being subjected to fascist and nazi-enabling content on Spotify? It shouldn't even be on this platform in the first place!

Several months back I finished an episode of a podcast I was listening to and Spotify automatically skipped over to Joe Rogan. As I consider Joe Rogan to be a complete fucking imbecile, I stopped playback within seconds. But now I have that idiot's dumb face looking at me every single time I open the app. How do I get rid of it?

This is the reason I made an account here. Yesterday I logged in to Spotify and it was pushing Joe Rogan's podcast and saying it was "recommended for you." I have listened to a total of one podcast ever on Spotify (a single episode, not an entire series), and it was an LGBTQ one. In no way am I interested in Rogan. I have been paying for Premium for over a decade and I can't believe that I don't have the option to block a podcast. I would prefer to remove the entire podcast category from my home screen. But if I can't do that (and it seems like Spotify is pushing non-music pretty heavily), at least let us block specific shows.

Exactly!!! I will not have that right wing propaganda bs constantly thrown
at me. It's disgusting, and perverted. I don't know how people can stand
listening to that trivial garbage. It's as if they've given the entire
stage to the lowest life forms and said have fun. Hard pass. I was born
with more emotional intelligence than he has in one of those elongated
nipples. What a disgusting freak. Those "alpha bros" sure do love him
though. At least we can judge who to watch out for by their choice in

Not everything and everyone can be part of the cancel culture. Though in my view Spotify could give you 'dislike' button.
The irony is that I listen to Joe Rogan once in a while, I'm not seeing his show on my front page. Maybe just listen a few and the show will disappear. Suggestions, one with Tulsi or Robert or Donald or Elon or.. soo many choices.
 
I'm coming across plenty of things on daily basis which I don't like and have serious consequences for so many people; almost 3 years of lock downs because of flew virus, man-made climate change believers causing so much money to evaporate in green washing, main stream media which is blocking essential information, just not following those anymore.
 
Just noticed that good old Neil Young is back on Spotify, did he change his view on Rogan?

Hey look everyone, Mihail is using his robot voice again posting the same generic response we see endlessly...🤣  Considering this has been an ongoing issue for many years, brought to your attention repeatedly, I'd say your response that you "value our feedback" is a false statement.  Come on already, basic filtering of preferred content needs to be made available to paid Spotify users.  I DO NOT want to see anything from Joe Rogan, ever.  Please give me the option of blocking that nonsense - or at the very least, the option to dislike it - so that hopefully the algorithm quits promoting it in my suggested content constantly.

I was trying to listen to one of my podcasts when it randomly switched it to the Joe Rogan podcast. What is f is up with that? This has happened twice now. I have never searched his name on Spotify or even on google at all!  I just know he is a crazy right wing conspiracy theorist so this is clearly pushing a certain agenda. There is absolutely no way it would make sense based on my listening history to put on his show. You're a Swedish company with a functional socialist government for crying out loud! Why are you out here trying to promote evil American politics? You can get all the way out of here with your f-ing propaganda.

While we're at it can you just play the next podcast in order of the way the list is sorted? Every time I finish an episode it automatically plays the ending of the one I previously listened to. I have tried making the list ordered both newest to oldest and oldest to newest and no matter which configuration it's in, it always plays the episodes I have already heard instead of just playing the next unlistened to episode. Can you please make the mobile version functional? Thanks

Three times I have gotten into my car, which automatically syncs to bluetooth, to continue listen to whatever it is I was, and all the sudden programming switched to the middle of a Joe Rogan podcast. 

What the heck is going on here? I don't listen to Rogan, to my recollection I never have. Are they padding listens or something? 

How can I prevent this from happening again?
