My Question or Issue

I have created a new Kids Account and now want to add a shared playlist but none of my playlists are showing. I am plan owner and created 4 shared playlists according to Spotifys Guideline. But still ob Spotify Kids App it says there are no playlists there. 😞

Hey MihailY,

great, thank you for the clarifications. I didn't know that public is only "real public"when added the profile.

Thank you very much for your help

Not being able to share collaborative playlists is a mag or problem.  I am the organizer but I want my wife to be able to add songs to our kids mixes. She spends more time with them but can’t add any tracks to the playlists.  The only reasonable workaround I can see is to set the kids up as over 13 so they can use the full app, but then we loose all control.  The kids app is just checking a feature box… not a good faith effort.

I can't get past this screen with instructions on how to share playlists, but never actually having the option to add them.

Hey @OmarVelBa,

Thanks for your reply and for the info shared.

In this case, would you mind sharing with us if you've tried some troubleshooting steps? If you haven't yet, we'd suggest performing a clean reinstall of the app on both your device and your kid's. By doing that, the app can be up-to-date, and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this inconvenience. You can see the steps for a clean reinstall here.

If the above doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us the make/model and OS of the affected devices, along with the Spotify version you're running there?

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to offer up the solution I found after having this same issue for over a year. The playlists you share have to be public. I had one playlist set as public and the others private and couldn't figure out why only one was showing up in the Spotify Kids app. Once I set the ones I was sharing to public, they immediately appeared on the app. Hope this helps someone.

Exactly right. To Spotify support, PLEASE add this information to the page you keep referencing throughout this thread, to save people time in future - https://support.spotify.com/uk/article/spotify-kids/
