How did someone add themselves to my Family Plan when I am the plan manager

I received an email stating someone added themselves to my family plan. I did not add them or send a link for them to add themselves. How did they add themselves?

Superuser Contribution Spotify is not letting me change my payer source (from old card to new)

Spotify says I'm in a different country and I am unable to join family plan
