Double Payment

Solved!

Double Payment

Hi everyone!
About a week ago, I tried to subscribe to Spotify Premium using thr Student account, so I filled all the info required, including the payment details. The problem came up when I realised that my country was not in the list to apply to this benefits.
So,I just paid the normal subscription for Premium.
The thing is that in my bank app, it appears two debits (one for the students and other for the premium), although only the Premium one was totally charged, the other one is still pending of approval.
On my email I have only received the receipt of the premium one.
How can I fix this? Those 5,99AuD are frost by the bank now.
Thanks for your time and help
Juan

Hey @Jmlauro,

If Spotify is unable to verify your student I.D, you won’t be eligible to claim the student discount. In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as ‘pending’. This means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken.

Once the bank confirms your student I.D failed to verify successfully, the money will reappear on your statement. This can take up to 48 hours, depending on your bank. You can reach out to them for more information about any pending payments.
