Payment for Students

Hello, Why is the payment for students different from the premium?

i want to get a students deal on my account but the paymant is only visa/mastercard.
i don't want any of that.premiumstudents

and

if i click on get premium.. wich is 4,99 monthly more, there is an option for IDEAL payment,

so shortly you force me to get the expensive premium!

Hello Jake,

May I ask what country you reside in as the student offer may not be available for you, that may also be why Ideal isn't available as a payment option. However if Student discounts are available it may be the service that verifies you're a student only accepts Visa and Mastercard.

Sorry to say but the student discounts aren't available to the Netherlands, they are only available in the United States, United Kingdom and Germany. Head over to the Idea's Exchange (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Ideas/ct-p/newideas) and ask to get student discounts made available in the Netherlands. If someone has already suggested it give it a thumbs up and let Spotify know that you really want it!
