Can't delete folder/move folders

My Question or Issue

I can't delete a folder I've created. I've tried the web version on my phone, and my Xbox so thag I way I get an option, so it seems the device isn't relevant. I click the delete button and nothing happens, I get no error or any kind of message, it just doesn't do anything. I've tried adding and deleting playlists from it, renaming it first, which hasn't helped. I tried moving it into a different folder to at least keep it out if the way, but I couldn't do that either, and I did get an error. I wasn't able to move other folders either. I was able to delete folders earlier, and this is the first time I couldn't.

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community. 

We understand that you already gave two devices a go, but would you mind trying again from a PC? You can try either from the desktop app or the web player. Also, it's worth logging out and then logging back in to your account twice in a row. This will trigger a sync between your account and device. 

If this doesn't do the trick, could you create a new folder, moving the content from the stuck folder into it (if possible), and then see if the deletion works?

I logged back in on the web version on my phone and it seemed to delete right away, so maybe it just needed to catch up or something. I'm still unable to move folders into other folders, but I don't have access to a PC to try it there. However that's also not my biggest issue since I have a workaround for it.

Thanks for your reply and apologies for the confusion.

The web player is currently optimized for desktop browsers only, so it's normal to see some limited functionality/issues with it on mobile. We're happy to hear that you're able to delete folders again, however, we can't guarantee that this will keep working in the future.

If you currently don't have access to a PC and you think this functionality should be available in the mobile app, feel free to vote for and share your feedback in this idea. (don't be discouraged by its status as the idea is still being monitored)

I can't delete an unknown play list that's not mine and explicit I've tried and it just wants me to download list thatvi do not want

Thanks for the reply.

If it's not a playlist you've created, you can't fully delete it, but you can remove it from your library. Just use the checkmark button and uncheck it. That will remove it from your own library and it shouldn't appear in the sidebar anymore.

If this doesn't work or you're not seeing the appropriate options, please send us a screenshot of what exactly you see so we can take a closer look.
