My Question or Issue
I got emails saying my playlists had been taken down. Below is the text of one of the emails:
'Hello,
We have found the following content to be in violation of our content policies, and we have removed it. Please see our Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use for more information.
(Playlist url code)
Regards,
Spotify'
The big question is: What is it about? What was the violation and why am I allegedly in breach of Spotify's Terms and Conditions of Use?
I've been using Spotify on the Premium plan for years, and that's just now (and with my biggest playlists). They lost their name and photo. My playlists have become the second largest in the category they are in, so I have strong suspicions that the takedowns are due to malicious reports.
I humbly and kindly ask for an explanation of what happened and why it happened and a solution.
Sincerely,
Lucas.

an update: it seems they just stopped taking it down after a few days. no clue if its thanks to kicking up a fuss or they just stopped for no apparent reason but ive stopped getting takedown notifications
edit: Theyre back to taking it down again 😕 for no reason at all

A few months ago, I saw that some of my public playlists' covers and names had been deleted. Then I received an email from Policy Report Notification saying
Subject: Takedown Notification
"Hello,
We have found the following content to be in violation of our content policies, and we have removed it. Please see our Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use for more information.
spotify:playlist:3iegRF8fgIr7itYE1FoKWD"
I was very confused because my playlists do not have anything copyrighted or inappropriate in them. Then the next day, ALL of my covers and names were gone. This was both on my phone and computer. Also now the playlists don't appear on the sidebar on my computer. This was very devastating because I was very proud of my playlists since I had over 200 public playlists, and many of them had a large number of followers.
Every time I try to add the name or cover back, it will disappear within the next 24 hours and I will receive another email like the one above.
I've reached out to Spotify's chat team multiple times and every time they leave me on read for a long time, offer some unhelpful advice like 'did you restart your computer', then switch me to a new person, making me explain everything all over again. I've also emailed Spotify and they have yet to respond.
Please, I would greatly appreciate it if someone helps me fix this.

Have two of mine taken down for no reason apparently.
And i'm an premium user for over 3 years now. Never had this kind of nonsense going.
No image copyright, no offensive name (or whatever) and the description was quite harmless and according to the content.
For now, all my playlists will return to private. It seems that there's no way to prevent false reports so...
Shame on Spotify for not clearly state exactly what was the reason for being taken down.
I also have this happened to me today, It was also indeed my most subscribed playlist. There is no information about what terms it violates or anything in the mail and pretty sure it's a no-reply mail. So care to tell us why or where do we need to contact to get more info about this ?

My Question or Issue
I recently received an email from Spotify stating that one of my playlists violates their content policies. I emailed them to ask exactly what the problem was and they were unhelpful and basically sent what they said in the first email. I checked the Spotify terms and conditions of use, user guidelines, platform rules, and content actions. I still don't see what the playlist was violating. It was a streaming playlist for a new song called 'Smoke Sprite'- the playlist's name. It also had no description and a picture of the artist on the cover. What could have been the problem? Thank you in advance 🙂
What a nightmare
Hi. I am experiencing the same problem. My playlist has been takedown a lot of times and now I can't even edit the description the title and the image of my playlist. Please help
Just FYI: I found my list again afterwards by searching for it with the search option...
The list was still there (HURRAH !!! ).
However, the (my) picture was removed. I put a new picture on it, and put the the same name back on the list (albeit with bis).
Same thing just happened to me. Got an email about it for my most popular playlist that doesn’t violate any policies as far as I’m concerned. I reached out to support and after explaining the situation i sent them the email text I received. The agent immediately said there is no more information to give me and that he will be shutting down the conversation. Didn’t answer any of my questions or concerns and closed the case even tho clearly I was still seeking help and asking questions. Is Spotify shutting down creator curation playlists in order to maintain a monopoly on playlists or something? It all seems very sketchy to me, especially since I was so blatantly ignored by “customer service” without any explanation about what could be going on or why my playlist violated any policy and is being “removed”.

Regards,
I am having the same issue. It's a harmless playlist and there is no violation of term of service or whatever
It's strange
i'm having this issue as well, started today
i'm having the same issue today, keeps taking down my list with 3100+ followers
Same problem here, i'm receiving mails all day, and they keep deleting my playlist name, description and image. I have over 1800 listeners on it. I wrote twice to Spotify support and both agents closed the conversation arguing that my claim were not related to payments...i don't want to think bad, but i suspect that Spotify is doing this on purpose...i hope that i'm wrong...but i've seen here the same problem from years and there's still no response or solution from Spotify.
My playlist is being targetted by this and support chat cant help? how the **bleep** are we meant to stop this from happening?

My Question or Issue
Hello,
today I got an E-Mail saying one of my playlists, my biggest playlist actually, was in violation of policies and the Picture and Name keep getting taken down.
I did read the Terms and Conditions and don't see anything my playlist is violating.
"Hello,
We have found the following content to be in violation of our content policies, and we have removed it. Please see our Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use for more information.
(playlist url)
Regards,
Spotify"
What is this violation about? There aren't any Terms and Conditions that are being violated by my Playlist. My Playlist is one of the biggest in it's category, I believe that the Takedown was because of unjustified reports from users.
I kindly ask for explanation.
Best regards,
Zoe

I did not upload a photo. There is no bad word but This playlist was deleted by 8 times...
I have strong suspicions that the takedowns are due to malicious reports.
Help me Spotify😢
hi
As I wrote in another thread, I don't think we fully understood the message received in the email, which literally says "Please see our Spotify Terms and Conditions of Use for more information."
Could it be that the part that Spotify wants us to see is the following?
"Spotify may, but has no obligation to, monitor, review, User Content. Spotify reserves the right to remove or disable access to any User Content with or without reason. Spotify may perform this action without prior notice to you."
Spotify doesn't have to explain to us if it removes our playlists.
We assume that successful listing removals are due to malicious actors manipulating the reporting system. And we ask Spotify to fix its reporting system so that these injustices are not committed.
But. In this matter, could spotify be considered a neutral arbitrator? What motivation would the company have for protecting successful lists of independent curators? Wouldn't it be in the company's legitimate interest that only their own playlists prevail and not those of independent curators?
I do not know the answers to these questions; but they make me think
