Is there a way to view my play queue in the new iPad version? A couple of days ago, I had queued up a bunch of songs, but I didn't end up playing them all. Today, I wanted to listen to a playlist and one song played and then one of the old songs I had queue'd started playing instead of the next song in the playlist.
I understand this is how the play queue works (I use the desktop version of Spotify quite a bit too), but I can't for the life of me find a place in the iPad app to view that queue or to remove stuff from it when I no longer want to hear it (say, a couple of days later when I come back to the app).
Am I just missing it, or is there really no way to see what's in the queue or a way to clear it on the iPad?

I dont understand this, how can there still be no way to wiev your queue on the iPad when it works on the iphone with smaler screen and all..
Just a bump for a critical feature for the iPad that somehow has been missing for a long time now.
I had never noticed how clunky the iPad app is. I mostly use Spotify on Sonos or a laptop. Why is it so different on an ipad? I was trying to clear a queue and thought maybe it was me. No, for once it was not. This seems to be an Apple iPad issue in general to me. Perfectly useable app or programmes in any other format become awkward once used on an iPad.
In particular with Spotify I really think it is annoying that you can not modify, delete or view a queue of music. Is this not a bit basic to not have available?
Having no way to view or modify the queue on an ipad is a major drawback. I am on the free trial , but most likely will go back to apple music as I had recenly tried it during with their 3 month trial and it worked great on the ipad. I have only one playlist on spotify so switching is easy.
Bye bye spotify
Just gave up waiting for Spotify to address this ridiculously ancient iPad issue. Simply installed SpotQueue (free) from the iTunes App Store. Works perfectly, and does everything Spotify should have provided years ago.
It's not a solution but you can watch the Queue on your smartphone by opening Spotify there too.
Keep the iPad as the "running Spotify session" and you can watch the Queue and even add songs from both devices.
@CharlieBulldog That's a useful bit of information. The functionality is a bit basic: from the phone, you can add songs to the play queue running on the iPad, but only inserting them as the next to play, not appending them to the end of the current list; and you can jump down to a different song In the queue, or step forward and back through the current playlist one item at a time. So it's a bit like using the phone as a remote. But, as you say, better than nothing.
Thanks!
I've beeh using tidal due to lack of queue control on shoddify. Works great on my ipad mini. Queue controls work perfectly on it and sound clarity is perfect. -- c
I am ASTOUNDED that there is no way to see the list that is currently playing (without scrolling/playing every song) on IPAD. Seriously rethinking my subscription.
Please, please, please add this feature Spotify!!! I have been waiting at least a year for the iPad app to catch up to the features on the iPhone app. I really thought you guys would have at least made the queue viewable by now. 😞
This is an absurd of UI/UX 😕 If you have the ability to add something to the queue, you need the ability of edit this queue! It is not a wish, my god! It is something basic in desktop and andrid versions. One time I had to use my Android mobile to clean my iPad queue. It's a shame!
