Searching Users

We currently have 3 accounts with Spotify and are unable to search other users on all 3 (such as our friends' accounts). When you attempt to search it prompts "no results found." Settings have not been adjusted and this issue has been persistent for almost a week. Please advise!

Hey @Thesportsbarre1,

You should be able to look up the profiles by entering spotify:user:username into the search bar in the Spotify app. Make sure to replace username with the username of the profile that you'd like to look up.

Some profiles have a first and last name as their display name, but they have an username as well. You would need to ask these people to go onto their profile in the desktop app, then they need to click the three little dots and then they need to click the 'URI' button:

Thanks. However you used to be able to search by first and last name. Is this coming back?

As far as I know, Spotify's currently looking into an issue that's affecting search results.

Unfortunaltly doesnt' work...
