Student Discount

Student Discount

I was charged twice for the student discount and; it hasnt shown up whatsoever. I need help as to what to do.

Hey @ale_r14,

 

Did you get an email receipt for your subscription purchase?
 

In it, it shows the Spotify username you paid for:

 

Username/ID:        xxxxxxx

Logout of the app, and be sure to use it, instead of your email address, to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.

 

If you didn't get any email receipt, sometimes the amount gets 'on hold' even if the charge doesn't go through. Normally the amount gets back to your bank account a day or two later.

Thanks so much! I just wanted some reassurance as to what was going on; since I haven't gotten the receipt at all.

Those charges are just authorization charges that should clear within a few days. The team is currently investigating this issue. 

 

Can you please provide a view details:

  • Country you are located in:
  • A screenshot of what appears on spotify.com/student and the page when you try to purchase the student discount:
