Delay with Android Media Control

My Question or Issue

When I skip a track on the Media Controller there is a 2 second delay before it shows up as the next one.
There's no issue skipping in the app itself, the music skips as well nor with the Spotify Widget, but the name/cover does not skip before about 2 second later on the Media Control.
The issue is only there with Spotify and not any other music apps.

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please provide us the following:

• Is this on all devices or only on specific one(s)?
• When did this start happening?
• Is this the same across all songs/other content?
• A clean reinstall is always worth a shot, so try it if you haven't already.

-Its just on my phone.

-About a week ago.

-Yes, no matter the playlist or if its songs or podcasts.

-I have tried a clean install twice and unfortunately it didn't work.

On my galaxy s10e it's the same, sometimes,  not always, I presse the pause, spi buttons on the nav bar, it does not respond, then I go to the app skip the music, some time after (arround 10, 30 seconds sometimes)  the commands go, then it skips the music I don't want to skip, or ir pauses... very irritating

Thanks for letting us know! 10 to 30 seconds sounds like quite the gap and this shouldn't be happening.
Have you gone over the steps mentioned by @Joan? If not, please do & share the requested info 🙂 

Aside from this, we'd like to know if you're using an SD card as your storage and if you have enough storage space in the location your app is utilizing and installed on (min. 2GB).
