My Question:
I am unable to download music so that it plays offline and this has been an issue for years, but only just now really dug into trying to fix it... Where is this functionality supposed to exist? I have gone through all the settings below with my watch connected to wifi, watch connected to my phone through bluetooth, watch spotify in "offline" mode, phone completely disconnected in airplane mode with no wifi/bluetooth on, all watch connections turned off
I have also tried

Hey @scottierobb,
Thanks for all the info you've provided!
Our tech team confirmed that the option to download playlists for offline listening is no longer supported on Tizen-powered Samsung smartwatches, including the Galaxy Watch Active 2. Spotify’s focus has shifted to newer platforms, and legacy Tizen devices are not guaranteed to have full feature support going forward. We really appreciate you taking the time to post about this and for all the detailed information.

Hey there @scottierobb,
Thanks for reaching out, and kudos for all the info you've provided and the troubleshooting you've tried!
You should be able to download content on your watch by navigating to the desired playlist or album from your phone and selecting the "download" option. If you're not seeing this, could you send over a screenshot of how things are looking from your end?
Also, let us know the exact Spotify app version currently running on your phone.
We'll be on the lookout.
Thank you for the response.
Phone Spotify version: 9.0.66.655
As you can see in the screenshots I already have the playlist downloaded to my phone, the music is playing off my watch so obviously my phone sees my watch, and when I go to "download to other devices" all I see is my phone and my PC. Let me know what else you need!
Hey @scottierobb,
Thank you for keeping in contact and for the info shared.
Taking into account that the option "download to other devices" is not showing your Watch, it could be related to the app on your phone. We understand you’ve already tried some troubleshooting steps including reinstalling, but just to confirm, did you use the steps for a clean reinstall mentioned in this article?
Also, it's possible that you've reached the limit of offline devices. If you have any phone that is not in use anymore or another Watch where you had downloaded content, we'd recommend removing the downloads from those devices directly by following the steps mentioned here under the section Delete downloads.
Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
I had not completed the "clean reinstall" so I completed that and I also don't believe I have downloads on 5 devices because I don't have 4 additional devices, just my phone and PC. Would old devices I've factory reset and recycled count? Is there a way to see where all your downloads live?
Is there a way to do a "clean reinstall" on the watch? I did a factory reset which I'm guessing is just as good.
The issue still persists. Thanks!
Hi there @scottierobb,
Thanks for the reply.
We've been researching further and from everything we can find, you should have a button on the watch itself to download the playlists there. It should look something like this:
Please take a look and see if you have this. If you don't, please send us some photos of what exactly you see in the watch app so that we can look into this further.
Keep us posted.
I do not see the download or shuffle icons face up when clicking into a playlist. When music is playing I can click the three dots on the right to access the menu that shows shuffle, repeat, and bluetooth. Attached is a video showing what I see when opening spotify to the main menu and clicking into a playlist.

I appreciate your help, please let me know what other information I can provide or additional troubleshooting steps I can take.

Hi, I tried to install spotify again in my galaxy watch active 2 (after a month using it without spotify by uninstalling it that time) but I am not able to find any spotify in galaxy store. I have a standalone 4g data plan in my watch. What could be the issue ?
