Dear spotify community,
I recently got the Urbanears Plattan ADV wireless headset, the one from the offer. It's a nice little headset, with nice audio quality.
However, I have one small problem.
My problem is, when I try to use the headphones with spotify, the sound comes through just fine, but when i try to skip to a different track, my phone opens the stock music player.
Now I've deleted my music, so the stock player won't prioritize itself, and even though that worked, I still can't use the touch controls on the headset.
Now when I try to skip to the next track, the headset just gives me a beep, and nothing else. Volume control works fine.
For clarity, I have an Huawei Honor 4x.
Is there any solution?
Thank you guys in advance!

Alright, good news for me, and to close this thread.
Apparently there was an update for my phone for a couple of months, but only available to download through pc (phone updater stated there wasn't any update, at all, ever).
Did that, and now it works perfectly!
Thanks you for helping 🙂
Usually a clean install is the first step to take and resolves most of the usual issues; the guide details the steps to take to ensure a full 'clean installation' is achieved - This includes checking redundant folders and a REBOOT!

Thank you for the quick reply!
Unfortunatly, the clean install didn't work. Volume control is still fine, but i can't skip tracks, or tap for pause/play.
I'm going to try the headset on a different phone later today, see how that goes. It may be my phone that has issues with the headset.
