Sadly the only 'usable' fix I found was to just turn Soundalive off in the
EQ options.
Sadly, this makes things much quieter but it seems to have stopped the
volume changes. Either that or there just so quiet I don't notice them any
more.
Either way, this **bleep** needs to be sorted soon or I may jump ship too.Hi there, SoundAlive EQ is something provided by Samsung on their devices. If this is causing issues you should get in contact with their customer support. If turning it off fixes the issue with Spotify then it's clearly an issue with the EQ provided by Samsung
That's not what he said - he states that the music is too quiet with Soundalive turned off.
I am having the same issue on my Samsun S4. It just renders Spotify useless. I can't believe there isn't a fix for this, and they don't seem to be taking it seriously.
I think I am going to cancel my subscription. Out of interest, are there any other streaming apps that don't have this issue? Google Play appears to have the same problem. is it something to do with the Android platform rather than the developers?
Google Play actually works great. Side by side, get the same song paused on both and listen on Google Play then Spotify. Google Play will be much clearer and louder...even on Google's "Normal" quality. Even better on their "High".
the only deal breaker for me for Google Play is that offline songs take up so much more space on my phone than the ones on spotify. That the only reason I haven't switched to Google Play
See I signed up for the trial of google Play and was still having sound issues. Did some googling and found that there are issues with that too. hence wondering if it is a platform issue.
I will give Deezer a go and see if that works. There must be something that does!!
Did not work.
Jazz makes it quieter.
Didn't work for me either. I have tweeted Spotify and am in a DM conversation with them about it, so will report back
