Why do my playlists show up empty?

Why do my playlists show up empty?

This just started today. Whenever I open my playlist, instead of seeing songs and the play button, all I see is, "Let's start building your playlist!"

I don't know if it's important (it probably is) but I've been in a different country for two weeks. Could that possibly be the reason why? I've already changed the location to where I'm at now, but that doesn't seem to help. I've also logged out two times. I have a Samsung and I use Spotify Free.

Yes, this might be related to the fact that you recently went abroad. You can use Spotify free in a different country or region for up to 14 days. However, if you already updated your country settings and your playlists are still empty, we can check.

 

First up, go to your Account Overview page and make sure your country settings are correct. Additionally, double check your account credentials and make sure you're logging in correctly. If everything is correct, try logging out and back in twice in a row from the app to force a sync between your account and device. If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the app by following these steps. No worries, you won't lose any saved content.

 

If the issue persists, send over a screenshot of the message you get when accessing your playlists.
