Missing the collaborative playlist feature

My galaxy note 3 phone seems to have a different version of the spotify app installed and is missing the collaborative playlist feature. When I tap the menu on the playlist it's not an option. Am I in the wrong place?

Now Playing UI Switches from Modern to Old

When I switch from Young Thug's Anybody to other songs Spotify's new cool Now Playing UI pauses for a second and then switches to old UI. Same happens the other way. It obivously blocks flawless UI experience.

I see these have been off/on again, can we get them back on again? I understand most large Developers can't seems to be bothered to put them in the Play Store listing, I'm not sure how hard that is, but I really like to see that information somewhere...
