I have the SR7009, Spotify Connect has worked flawlessly until this issue about a week ago. It is now working fine again without any update on either the iOS Spotify app or the Marantz.

Same WiFi network? Have you updated the firmware on the speaker?

Check UPnP is enabled on your router.

And you've definately connected the amp to your wifi router?

Working for me now - yay!

Plugged it into my router and a day later it updated its firmware and Spotify shows up as a device.

Works really well.

Hope you get it sorted soon too,

Hi!
I have a Marantz Na8005 which was working fine with Spotify Connect until yesterday. Spotify Connect finds the player but no connection is build up (it is not getting green)
Any idee what could be the reason?
Thanks in advance!
Linus

They killed the compatibility today or their servers are having issues i guess.

My Denon isnt working too as reported in Help - Others, some other users have issues with their Gramofons.

An official response would be appreciated.

Kind regards
MartinB

I've no idea really but first guess would be a network issue.. reboot
router, go through the network ser up again on your amp.. restart
everything..

Its no network issue it magically started working again some time ago.

Kind regards
MartinB

I got it working yesterday although only for a while. Töday the connection is gone again. Does anyone know if Spotify got a problem with their servers or is the problem rather by my own network?
Sincerely,
Linus

Same problem here. My Marantz NR1605 is always shown as a playable device, but sometimes works sometimes not.

The speaker icon animates (connection in progress) but after 15-20 seconds of attempts it goes back to grey (not connected)

Extreeeeemely annoying!

Hello,

also have the problem, that spotify connect cannot wire to my receiver. All of them have the actual software version.

Both of them are integrated in the same networt connection. I don´t know what to do to reconnect spotify with my Marantz SR7009.

It will be again no connection, spotify isn´t right for me again.

Thanks for all reply in solving this problem.

Dirk

Please explain better what you mean for "putting music in your cell phone".
Mp3? Local stored or online?

I found a solution.

First: Navigate in Android to settings-Apps-Spotify. Delete all Spotify data. After that Dr-install Spotify from your Phone.

Second: Check for Smartphone Updates. If a new version is available install the previous version.

Third: re-install Spotify over Play Store .

Now Spotify Connect should be in work.

Regards
Dirk
