Hey folks! Welcome to this month's Ongoing Issues Review where we keep you in the loop about some of the most trending ongoing issues reported here in the Spotify Community. This is where we share updates from behind the scenes and let you know what has been fixed, what we’re tracking, what we need your help with, and where things stand. FIXED
1. Can not joing family plan: Application error: a client-side exception has occurred
This is fixed. The tech team identified the root cause and things are back on track. We recommend to update the plan address if you still have issues.
2. Mixing feature crashes app on Android
This is resolved in the newest app version.
3. Can't connect with my Android Wear OS Mont Blanc Summit 2+ watch
Should be fixed! Log out > back in a few times for a resync, as well as uninstall the app both from the phone and watch, and download it again from the Google Play store in order to get rid of any potentially corrupted cache.
4. Unable to see Sound Capsule
This issue got resolved quickly and everything should be working well.
5. Users on Android devices can't play content in Offline mode
Should be resolved with the new app version and we advise a clean reinstall to get rid of any potentially corrupted cache.
6. Webpage redirects to "Spotify is currently not available in your country"
Issue that lasted for a very short period of time and was fixed quickly on the same day. All Spotify links should be working properly.
7. iOS app crashing when opening Spotify-curated playlists
This is resolved as well.
8. Can't turn off Canvas loop
The issue should be fixed and what could help is to disable reduced motion on the OS then disable Canvas on desktop, and after this re-enabling reduced motion.
9. Playlist cover not changing
This should be fixed, but if the issue persists for you, it would be helpful to provide us with the make/model and OS of the affected devices, as well as the exact Spotify-version and any troubleshooting steps you've tried.
10. Issues with using "Search" - keyboard does not appear automatically
Fixed with the new app version - 9.1.20. We recommeng updating Spotify.
11. Plan managers unable to remove members
Also a resolved one. Refresh/restart your browser(s) before giving it another go.
12. Spotify Connect doesn't show artist name on Web Player
Should now be working for all. We advise refreshing the Web Player a few times, an incognito window or different browser, as well as clearing the cache for the Spotify web player.
13. Keyboard play/pause button doesn't work on video podcasts
This was probably a temporary issue which seems to have gotten resolved with the latest app version.
14. Local Files Playback no longer working and getting video adverts
This should be fixed. Perform a clean reinstall and/or re-add the local files to Your Library.
15. Mix button not working
Now resolved and the button should work as expected.
16. Podcast Episode List Scroll Location Resetting to Top
Should be fine with the new app version - 1.2.81. If you don't see a pending app update under the profile picture in the top right corner of the app, you can instead reinstall Spotify.
17. Downtime [Feb 14th 2026]: Android users getting an error when accessing playlists
Short-lived issue that was quickly resolved on the same day.
18. Podcast showing two chapters at once and incorrect playtime
This issue is also resolved and we recommend an app update. If the issue persists, however, we recommend logging out > back in, clearing stored cache, a clean reinstall and updating the device's OS.
19. [Desktop] Drag & drop for queue items doesn't work
Things should be fine, but if the issue persists for you, please provide us with further details that include a detailed description of the issue, the device(s) this is happening on, OS-version, exact Spotify-version and troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.

20. Cannot open desktop player
Let us know in the thread if the issue still persists for you, as we haven’t received any new comments in the Community thread in the last 30 days.
21. 'made for you' playlists not working on garmin
Some of you reported that the issue is fixed. However, for those of you that are still experiencing this, make sure you're running the newest app version.
22. Can’t play downloaded songs on search on offline mode
To help with the investigation, it'd be very helpful if you could send us timestamps (day, time and time zone) in the thread.
23. Search results severely limited – only 27 results for "love"
Let us know in the thread if this limitation issue is resolved for you.
UNDER INVESTIGATION
24. "Your Episodes" can't be removed from Your Library
Thank you folks for your continued reports on this. The team is looking into the issue, but we're unable to provide a timeline for a fix at the moment.
25. CarPlay Playlists not loading
We're still receiving reports here as well. The team is investigating, but there are no updates at the moment.
NOT RIGHT NOW
26. No sound from Nvidia Shield to TV; tracks appear to be playing
The team will continue to investigate, but we can't say exactly when this will be addressed/fixed. The current workaround that we recommend is the following:
- In the Nvidia Shield’s settings, go to: settings > device preferences > display & sound > advanced sound settings and disable "Match content audio resolution - Preserve audio bit depth and sampling rate over HDMI".
27. [iOS] Buttons too close to the edge in queue
This has been reported to the relevant team, but we're unable to provide an ETA for a fix at this time. In the meantime, make sure to keep Spotify updated to the newest version.
28. 20 albums limit on Tesla
Currently, we can't give an ETA for a change here, but the relevant team has been notified about this as well. Keeping the app updated is a good idea in order not to miss any updates/changes.
