[All Platforms] Customize Start Screen

This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

I’ve got to the point of frustration now, whenever I scroll I end up hitting a video/ podcast which then starts playing 🙄

It needs to just be simplified.

"I am extremely frustrated that an unwanted podcast is pinned at the top of the 'All' feed on the home screen. It even shows up in offline mode, and there is no way to hide it.

I’ve already tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the app, and checking the desktop version, but nothing worked.

While switching the filter from 'All' to 'Music' does hide podcasts, the Android app then only shows me 'Recent Releases' or 'Made for You' playlists, making it impossible to access my own created playlists. I'm forced to use the 'All' feed and see that content.

I want you to implement the same features for podcasts as you have for music—specifically the ability to 'Exclude from your taste profile,' 'Don't play this artist,' and a way to report users who only distribute podcasts. Please make this possible."

Spotify really needs better home page customisation.

Not everyone uses the app the same way. some of us are there purely for music, not podcasts, audiobooks, or random recommendations we didn’t ask for. It’d be way better if we could choose what shows up on our home screen. For example, being able to remove or hide sections like podcasts, and prioritise things like playlists, recently played, or new music we actually care about. It would also be good if we had an option to get rid of this section (shown in the image) or at least choose what shows up on it. 

A cleaner, personalised home page would make the app feel way more intentional instead of cluttered. Anyone else feel the same or have ideas on how they could improve this?

Not only that the home page sucks by not being customisable and suggests unwanted content, the latest update introduced automatic dismissal of stacked views back to the nightmare homepage EACH TIME when you open the app. Previously it at least remembered last view open so you could just play the last playlist, but now it drops you back to home page. 15K+ of your paid customers expressing dissatisfaction with your product and no attempts have been made. We get it, you need to suggest content to unpaid accounts, BUT the very reason we pay is to get rid of the suggestions. Further more, it’s getting more and more complicated app with new features that are not helpful and they just all create same playlist - I already have that playlist why do I need another version of it?!. Less is more. I will never watch video on my phone, Spotify playing is in my pocket when I am out and about or on charger at home - I don’t look at the screen! Only when changing music

Reg Alessign's comment saying "15K+ of your paid customers expressing dissatisfaction with your product and no attempts have been made." That's just those of us willing to make the entirely different login needed just to give feedback. I refused for a while, but finally got annoyed enough to do so. Count your days Spotify, people are tired of mega corps not listening to the consumers who are paying for the product/service. If an artist owned app launched tomorrow, I'd cancel Spotify in a heartbeat.

Allow for people to go to their settings and edit their home feed to be one set style which they chose and design. So have certain features be able to be locked in one place while others stay the same. Such as delete podcasts and customize it to be in one firm set of your design

I think in spotify you should be able to customise the appearance of the app, similarly on discord if you have the nitro subscription, you can change the appearance of the entire UI. Its a small change but would allow more personalised apps.

Not sure why I'm commenting, community feedback clearly doesn't matter. Just let us hide content on our home page, I'm not sure why it's so difficult. I haven't listened to a podcast in 5+ years, stop promoting them to me.

The homepage is a mess. The fact that I have to first press "music", then "Following" to see if there are new songs is such a long progress I often forget to check it and not know there are new songs from artists I follow. Same with podcasts.
