This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

Sometimes you open up Spotify and there's a recommendation tray you really like. Today I got "Albums featuring songs you like". But then you refresh the page, or come back the next day, and it's nowhere to be found!

My suggestion is to give users the ability to pin these trays. It would be great to slowly customise our homepage to our liking, to find the artists and music we enjoy. And I'd encourage a limit on this so users are constantly exposed to new recs and trays. But just regularly being able to check if there's new music in one of these categories would be class.

Idk how good it is because I mainly use Spotify for podcasts.. hold down on whatever it is you're interested in and add it to your library to find later

I feel like different people have different preferences on what they want displayed on their app homepage. For example, in my desktop app it keeps showing me audiobook suggestions, even though I'm not on a plan that includes audiobooks. I also personally would like the option to more easily sort through artists/albums I already listen to, sort of like how the recents tab used to work.

I can’t do anything with a playlist from another user. We shared our playlist once but after that it always shows up on my homepage. And the problem is even I clicked “remove from my library”, “ Exclude playlist in your taste profile” it still appears. I don’t want to see that playlist anymore. I want to delete that playlist on my homepage forever.

My Question or Issue

On the Home screen, we can see the 8 collections (playlist, album, etc)

My usual exp has been more recently listened ones are by the top, and when collections not among the 8 are listened to, they tend to appear there and push the less recent ones out.

However, for the past 2-3 months, one playlist seems 'pinned'. It does not stay at the top or a specific location, but it does not seem to drop out of the 8 even if not being listened to (it's 'off-season'). How do I get this one to behave like the other playlists?

I have pressed-and-hold the playlist to see if it was really 'pinned' but there is no such feature. I do not want to take drastic measures like 'Remove from profile' or 'Delete playlist', nor 'Make private'. After all, I did not do those to other playlists yet they will drop out after some time.

The tab “Your Library” is THE REAL HOME PAGE / starting page of any music product and the current tab “Home” needs to be renamed to “Suggestions” and it needs to be moved from position 1 to 3. Dear Spotify, you have the UI/UX wrong…

Hey TeamSpotify! I'm your fan.. My idea is “Add an Option or Feature to Block or Remove Any Playlist from Spotify HomePage”. Because its very irritating when Something you don't wanna see is appearing in the Spotify HomePage When you open it.. it's really disgusting. Please add a Feature to Remove or Block Any Playlist from HomePage and Can Customise the HomePage.. I can definitely say that My idea for Customizable HomePage Feature will give a great and better experience to all Spotify Listeners..

Occasionally Spotify shows me a section called 'Album picks' which recommends albums I have not listened to previously, by artists I may or may not know. The picks are clearly personalized based on my recent listening history. 90% of the time this is exactly what I want to listen to- albums I don't know recommended based on my taste. However, this only shows up on my home page occasionally and with no discernible pattern. As far as I know there is no way for me to access this feature without it appearing on my home page. Instead I get a bunch of features that I'm not interested in recommended to me, seemingly arbitrarily, by an algorithm that I guess thinks it knows better than I do how I'd like to discover music.

Some ability to 'lock' a feature so it always shows on your home page would be great but I'm just spitballing. You have product managers. I just want to be able to use the spotify features I want to use without having to wait for the 'home page algorithm' to decide I'm allowed to.
