[All Platforms] Customize Start Screen

This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

My complaint was marked as "closed - duplicate" only for me to get routed here with no intent for resolution. I've filed a report with the BBB because there is no way for me to remove the offensive content from my home screen. I encourage you to do so as well.

I’m thinking about canceling Spotify. The suggestions are so crappy and irrelevant. When I’m in my car, the ENTIRE Apple CarPlay is sports podcasts. I’ve never listened to a single sports podcast in my life.  It’s not even that garbage suggestions are floating to the top, it’s that is completely replacing other choices.  Beyond the already lower quality audio, the actual function of playing music is being replaced by promoted **bleep** content from people that are probably paying Spotify to elevate? Please fix this.

Bro I don’t understand why 1 they marked it as not now when people have voted for this and it deserves to be added 2 why other users can’t make similar suggestions to expand the amount of users behind the idea and 3 why they used to have customization and then they removed for no gosh dang reason. It’s really dumb. You have the idea exchange for a reason, I can’t shut down an idea that has the votes to back it

So this idea gets over 2000 votes and put under "not right now" but you implement ideas with around 100 votes? What sense does that make?

It is clear that the developers of Spotify are no Einsteins. More than 2000 people voted to get rid of the stupid Shortcuts issue (or at least enable the user to change it) and they still did not fix it.

Probably the marketing "guru's" at Spotify don't let them make the needed changes because they think it is commercially attractive for them. Guess what? You will lose customers!

Please reconsider this. I'm already on the fence about keeping or ditching my paid subscription. A particular podcast I strongly dislike is right at the top of my home page that won't go away. and I have no idea what triggered it to get placed there as I don't use spotify for podcasting at all.

My biggest complaint is the podcasts!  I have absolutely NO interest in the podcasts presented in my home page and can’t get rid of them.  Very FRUSTRATING!

We chat with Spotify and have them remove your account and re install your account. This clears your home page. 
if everyone does this on a regular basis then Spotify will have to change something

Please make plans to address this simple request. Although I enjoy most aspects of Spotify, the fact that I can't control what shows when I open the home screen has me seriously considering finding an alternative music service. Users should be able to edit their personal home screen.
