[Amazon Echo] Alexa controls via Spotify Connect

There should be a way for any Echo to control a remote spotify connect.

say my speaker that has spotify connect and is playing Elvis. I should be able to use any Echo to change that remote speakers playlist,song,artist etc. The new playlist, song, artist etc will start be playing on that remote spotify connect but controlled by any Echo.

This Skill looks nice. But it isn't available in the german Skill-Store.

I really hope spotify include this service soon.

Also, where can I find an updated list of all Alexa commands available with Spotify? Spotify support just points to the Alexa support site, and the Alexa support site doesn't have any info about Spotify...

Well, I bought Spotify Premium for doing exactly that, saying Alexa what to play and WHERE to play. Looks like this does not work for 4 months now. Maybe I should cancel my subscription again...

You should not use any untrusted third-party skill (or any software, really) that asks you for your login credentials, unless it is from a trusted source (like Spotify and Amazon). Otherwise, you're essentially giving your credentials to a random stranger. There is already one claim of a hacked account from the use of that skill.

+1 on this. I could switch to Amazon Music and connect a dot to my stereo, but as others have noted, that's worse audio quality.

Google Home has this feature, but the triggers are extra long for other integrations (like SmartThings and Harmony).

I will be very excited when I can simply say, "alexa play spotify in living room".
