Touch preview removal on last iOS vers. update looks like it hasn't been a great idea. You are on time to restore it, one of the best Spotify features.

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea!

 

This feature was originally removed from the app due to low engagement. There was a statement at the time which you can check out at https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Touch-Preview-on-iOS-removal/td-p/1857905.

 

We're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now', as it's not something we have any immediate plans to add back onto the app.

 

If we do have any new info to share we'll check back in here with a new status.

I agree with the comments. People didn’t use it because they didn’t know about it. I discovered it by accident and never looked back. It helped massively and it was a huge revelation to anyone I showed it to. You need to bring it back, it’s one of the reason I subscribe to spotify

Please consider restoring.  I really loved this feature on your platform.  So many times you do not recognize a song by artist or title.  You need to be able to hear it first. 

 

Thank you for offering a great music experience. Overall, I love your music service but now have to go to YouTube to preview songs before deciding whether I like them to add in Spotify.  This maybe lost revenue for you as maybe you need to re-look at as YouTube makes user watch short commercials every 3-4 songs.  This is something you could add back but add short commercials that have to be watched. Maybe, a compromise somewhere.  Just a thought.  Thank you Kpropp

This was excellent. I used to be able to listen to a song to see if it’s the one I’m looking for. It used to help me find music quickly. Bring this feature back. Please.

I did love this feature! I often find myself trying to use it even after it's been removed.

There is still status Not right now. WE WANT SOME RESPONSE SPOTIFY!!! Why we have to wait so long??? If here won't be respone till 2 weeks, I cancel my subscription. I hope I won't be alone. They have to see losing customers.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE AND PLEASE bring the function back. I miss it so much, it was one of Spotify's greatest features in comparison to other music streaming services. I beg you bring it back, I'm sure many other people want it too.
