[iOS][Discover] Restore Touch Preview on iOS App

Touch preview removal on last iOS vers. update looks like it hasn't been a great idea. You are on time to restore it, one of the best Spotify features.

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea!

 

This feature was originally removed from the app due to low engagement. There was a statement at the time which you can check out at https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Touch-Preview-on-iOS-removal/td-p/1857905.

 

We're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now', as it's not something we have any immediate plans to add back onto the app.

 

If we do have any new info to share we'll check back in here with a new status.

It has been awhile. Is this coming back or not? I need it to sort music, and I will drop spotify it doesn't come back soon.

I miss this feature each time I open the app. 

Being able to ”preview” songs was ideal whenever I wanted to add songs to my queue. 

It’d be most appreciated if you’d put it back in.

Yes, I agree I would love to see this feature make a come back ! It was my favourite way to browse thru music before adding. Also even better I was able to preview while listening to a song without disrupting the queue! Please bring it back ;(

It’s been gone so long I don’t think it’s coming back. Would be nice to hear something, anything at all from Spotify regarding this issue

I don't understand why spotify seems committed to removing their best features. It's like they're trying to drive people away. Bringing back touch preview would be a good and simple first step in the right direction.

Why did you ever remove this feature.

It is simple the BEST music player feature!

Please bring it back or I’ll switch back to Apple music.

It’s back now! You can preview songs (30 seconds) on the shuffle only playlists on Spotify Free.
