[iOS][Discover] Restore Touch Preview on iOS App

Touch preview removal on last iOS vers. update looks like it hasn't been a great idea. You are on time to restore it, one of the best Spotify features.

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea!

 

This feature was originally removed from the app due to low engagement. There was a statement at the time which you can check out at https://community.spotify.com/t5/iOS-iPhone-iPad/Touch-Preview-on-iOS-removal/td-p/1857905.

 

We're keeping this idea as 'Not Right Now', as it's not something we have any immediate plans to add back onto the app.

 

If we do have any new info to share we'll check back in here with a new status.

If it had low engagement why didn’t you guys just put it as an option in the settings, as it’s a very practical feature. I honestly struggle to believe it had low engagement as a lot of people I know used it.

I am really disappointed right after I signed up for spotify preumum this happens. Put it back for  once. That's what made spotify different in how it used 3d touch in iOS. Please put this feature back with a toggle to turn it on or off. Thank you

Spotify is like my iPod I don't want slot of changes to it. The preview was perfect. The way you could look into a playlist without having to open the list was a genius idea for how to implement 3d touch.

It is so frustrating to find that perfect song without this feature. 

Spotify made a very bad call removing this feature. 

It is literally the best feature ever added to a music playing app, and such a natural use of 3D touch.

Would be great if someone came up with an app that achieved the same thing. 

 

Surely with over 3000 votes they have to bring the feature back otherwise what's the point of the voting system?

I feel so bad for you guys that haven’t gotten it yet! its gotta be coming your way soon, I just know it!

its a little different but once you get used to it, it’s perfect, at least for me..

Anyway Hang on! There’s hope!
