[iOS] Landscape mode on iPhone

Hello folks!

Since we just released "Landscape Mode on Android" and we marked the idea as "implemented", we wanted it to be fair with iPhone users (half of the comments were supporting Android half iPhone) so we have created this idea just for you iPhone users!

We have also added half of the kudos to be entirely fair.

Give it some kudos if you want to see this implemented.

Absolutely necessary. The missing Landscape mode is the ONLY irritation I have with Spotify on my iPhone (4S).

You guys at Spotify seem to have severe problems setting priorities. Let me explain what you should do:

- Put all developers to work on this issue and release it as soon as possible.

- Make a public apology on why this critical functionality wasn't implemented from the start and why it took so many years to get it done, also explain why you have ignored so many loyal, paying users. 

- Have an internal meeting on how this could have happened and how this can be prevented in the future. If there are specific people responsible for this, have a serious conversation with them and reconsider their position.

Wait... Why would something be a good idea for Android Users, but not for iOS users? I can understand wanting slightly different things, but I'm guessing both camps have fairly similar tastes when it's something as broad as "Landscape Mode."

I am absolutely irritated that there is no landscape mode support in the Spotify app... moreso now that I realize the Android version supports this. What the heck? In the car my phone is almost always in landscape. Using Spotify is a chore in this manner as my phone is mounted. Please impliment this for IOS devices.

i dont understand how we can do without landscape mode on iphone. 

i use spotify in my car, on iphone, et le landscape is very more practical to me for every app.

I really love spotify but I just got a holder for my phone in the car to use the nav in google maps easier and it would be so nice to be able to use Spotify in Landscape more.  Its totally unfair you updated the app for android and not Iphone 😞

I'm done with spotify, this bug is open for years now and still no anouncement of a fix..

Please, please, please add landscape mode to the iOS Spotify app!!  I'm a premium member and this seems like a fairly basic function, especially for your paying customers.  At the moment, I remain a disappointed Spotify customer.

first i thought something was wrong with my sensor.. then i found out this is actually a spotify bug..  really dissapointed the people at spotify don't take this seriously and fix it,  I noticed people are giving up their paid account because of this issue... is this really so hard to implement? why?
