Custom Order sorting option missing inside folders

We’ve recently received reports from users noticing that the Custom Order sorting option is missing inside folders on both Android and iOS.

After the latest patch, the sorting option "Custom Order" isn't available anymore inside folders. Within the main layer of the library, this option its still available.

This is quite inconvenient if someone's used to their own customized sorting structures especially with folders containing larger amounts of playlists.

Update:

This issue seems to be solved with the newest app update. Thanks for the support team Spotify.

My Question or Issue

Folders you can create to sort playlists into no longer has the "Custom order" option on the mobile app. It is available on the desktop app. I have the most updated version of the app.

I use folders to sort my many playlists into ones I'm still working on, and ones I have completed. And I have over 100 so it would be very helpful to be able to have them sorted in a specific order. Please and thank you!

• The exact Spotify version you're running.
• The make/model and OS of your Android devices.

I have the exact same problem. This bug must be fixed immidiately as custom order is the only order I am ever interested in hearing my playlists in. I actually rather wish all other options would disappear, I never need them ever.

I'm having the same issue! It's such an inconvenience because I LITERALLY have hundreds of playlists and now I don't know where ANYTHING is. Within the past day I've already noticed that it's affecting my listening habits, and I know it's not a huge issue, but it's important to me! My device is a Samsung Galaxy A35 5G and the Spotify version running is 9.1.34.2060

Yk what I think would be great would be the ability to customize the order of playlists while on mobile as well! Once this bug is fixed, I mean.

My Question or Issue

I'm unable to sort a playlist folder on mobile by custom order. I created my playlist folders years ago. Now the ability to sort them by the order I specify on desktop no longer exists.

Would take a little time and work but of course I agree. Plus folders should be public.
