Downtime June 12th: Several Spotify services are down

Hey folks! We've been getting reports about issues with login, playback and the Support site. This is now being looked into.

I'm having the same issues and I can't fix it no matter what I do

I tried to log into my account but it doesn’t allow me also when it says it will sent you an email nothing comes

We have identified the root cause and applied appropriate mitigations. Our infrastructure has recovered in all regions except us-central1.

Google Cloud products that rely on the affected infrastructure are seeing recovery in multiple locations.

According to https://status.cloud.google.com/incidents/ow5i3PPK96RduMcb1SsW:

"Our engineers are aware of the customers still experiencing issues on us-central1 and multi-region/us and are actively working on full recovery.

We do not have an ETA for full recovery.

We will provide an update by Thursday, 2025-06-12 14:00 PDT with current details."

So, there's partial recovery in some regions, and full recovery in other regions, if that makes sense. We're simply going to have to be patient. This isn't on Spotify, at least beyond not having a backup system in place.

web player has every song stuck at 0:00 for me no matter what i do, it won't play anything at all

Every time i log into spotify it just shows a blank screen, I can't listen to any music

In the middle of an audiobook, Spotify started skipping two of the middle chapters. Everything else seems to play okay so far. Trying this on an Android phone and a fire tablet, both with clean installs, and it skips the same two chapters. Chat support says they're aware and are working on it, and I voted above. Of course it's a big moment in the book, and it keeps trying to spoil it for me by playing later chapters. So frustrating!
