Users on the free service are unable to download podcasts

We've received reports from free users who are unable to download podcast episodes. Tapping the download icon results in an exclamation mark, indicating that the attempt failed.

Was on 18 month previous version when problem began, then updated and didn't fix.

Podcasts affected: JRE, dark horse Bret Weinstein.

Not affected: Matt and Shane secret podcast

I'm having an issue downloading podcasts.

As many others have been reporting, starting three days ago I have been unable to download episodes from certain podcasts, getting the !. While others are completely unaffected. As some have mentioned, for whatever reason if I have "Download Audio only for Video Podcasts" turned OFF, then episodes can download with no problem.

The Ben Shapiro Show,

The Check In (Joey Diaz)

The Lex Friedman Show

Actual Justice Warrior

The Comment Section with Brett Cooper

Among others I am forgetting at the moment. 

I have tried at length to find a solution with SpotifyCares on X, including clearing app data, cache, phone restart, re-installing the app, even having Spotify disconnect my account from my device due to a corrupted offline cache, then doing a clean re-install of the app, to no avail. I am hopeful and confident a solution can and will be found.

Applies to all episodes of podcasts that i am following and were not already downloaded onto my device before Friday. Specifically that is episodes on The Ringer NFL Show and The Ringer Fantasy Football Show feeds. 

Weirdly, I tried downloading episodes of 2 podcasts that I am not following, and they both downloaded with no issues.

Clean reinstall several times - deleted cache, user data, then uninstalled (spotify folder was not present)

Update: Appears to be working now. All podcasts downloading.
