Reason for complaint: Ad is louder then music itself. Always giving a loud roar at the start without warning followed by a child screaming. It's repeating many times, the do not recommend "dislike" button doesn't work at all

Hi I am receiving American adverts even though I am in the UK. 
I have noticed this while I am listening to uk based podcast and the adverts are for mobile networks in the US. It happens regularly but last time was about 5 minutes ago. Happening on my IPhone App

I hope that the spotify team do their filtering/selection of ads more thoroughly.

I live in the UK and for the past two days, I have been listening to this Cadbury Twirl "checkout" ad which is annoying, killing the vibe, giving negative vibes and most importantly, it is making me super anxious.

Seriously, imagine if I am listening to relaxing songs or meditation songs and this ad is keep popping up.

It's a bad ad really, it's making me want to stay further away from this Cadbury twirl.

spotify for the love of god please make your ads more diverse. i wouldnt mind the ads if the same 5 werent being repeated. 1 state farm, 1 capital one, 2 amazon, and a few more. stop this madness bro they repeat every few minutes and its driving me insane

I’ve been getting this ad about Spotify podcasts for 3 months. It comes up constantly. Every single ad I get is this ad and I can’t stand it. No matter how many times I’ve disliked it for getting it too often, it doesn’t go away. I’ve contacted the Spotify support countless times and they still haven’t stopped it.
the ad is just called SPOTIFY and says at the top of the picture, check out for Spotify creators

My Question or Issue

I don't mind hearing ads. It's annoying but I use the free version so I deal with it. But with the probable hundreds of ads existing, why do I always hear the same in repeat, always the 2 same going back again and again ? Even more as I keep qualifying them as uncomfortable. I have sounds that are very uncomfortable to me, like loud drinking sounds or inhaling loudly on repeat, and the 2 ads that keep coming contains this 2 sounds (the one I remember the name of is the Airway gum ad, with the lady false screaming and sounding like inhaling the entire world) and each time I report, each time I cut my volume until it passes, but it always comes back and takes me out of what I'm doing even more than a normal ad + it tickles my brain the wrong way (it just happened again as I was writing this issue)

• Reason for complaint: I have repeatedly heard a Paddy Power “Chances” advert on Spotify which I find unpleasant and inappropriate. The advert is framed as a dating game where a woman has three suitors to choose from, but rejects each one for stereotypical and dismissive reasons: one she calls a “flake,” one she rejects solely for being French, and the last she dismisses as “just a bit of a bloke.” The tone feels rooted in outdated and gendered stereotypes about men and relationships, and I find it sexist in the way it assumes what women are and are not interested in. It also perpetuates negative assumptions about nationality. It also seems to be on at every advert break for me.

• Reason for complaint: Ads exceeding normalization and volume set in the app; Sudden ads that are 2x as loud as the loudest parts of my music create a risk of permanent hearing damage. I do not want it. Prove that you're not a malicious company that intends to harm its users and fix it. It's known and talked about since at least 2015 and yet nothing has been done, proving it's not a bug or accident and can be attributed to premeditation. Good luck winning the case in court with nothing that can prove that you did everything that you could for it not to happen. Having user reports on your support forum documenting that the issue was ignored forever does not help your case. We're literally talking about your app exceeding safety limits and hurting your own customers. It's not a minor issue.

My Question or Issue

I was hoping the report ad would do something other than make you feel better.  I have reported an ad as Offensive, annoying and that I hear it too often.  It feels like since I have reported this one ad, that the algorithm has determined, that since I am being more interactive it should play it more.  I hear the same Snickers ad every time ads play.  

It would be nice that if we report an ad as offensive, it would somehow block that ad from the ones that are played.  I understand that ads are necessary, I am ok with that.  I understand that companies can pay to have their ad played more often.  I am ok with that.  But when I hear a grown man screaming at his crying baby because his fantasy football team sucks, it just sets me off.  

So I guess, to summarize my vent, I would like the report an offensive ad button to remove that ad from the available ones for a user.  I understand that some will abuse this, but maybe give the option once a week, or once a month or have another process checking for abuse.

Reason for complaint: It's a creepy ad about a horror movie that starts with creepy singing from a child. As someone with immense fear of creepy children singing voices, I always get a jump everytime I hear it. I sometimes put on Spotify shuffle when I'm driving, and I can't turn of the volume during that time which really disrupts my concentration. It also keeps playing even after I've disliked it multiple times.
