Changing Payment Method from Credit Card to Mobile Bill

Changing Payment Method from Credit Card to Mobile Bill

Howdy y'all, I'm from the Philippines and currently have a student discount.

I'm just going to ask how can I change my payment method to my own mobile bill (Globe). My current payment method is using a virtual credit card app named PayMaya. I'm planning to change my payment method but then the Mobile Bill mode of payment doesn't show up. For my student discount, I currently have the 12 month/65 php student discount which lasts up until March of 2021st. Hope anyone can help me.

Hey @Zelvade, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

You won't be able to pay for Premium Student by mobile billing or with another company (e.g. your phone or internet provider). This explains why you're not getting the option to pay with your mobile provider when attempting to update your payment method.

There is some more information on Premium Student here

I hope you'll find this useful.

Well I do have a friend (also has a student discount) who is able to pay via mobile bill. The difference is that he can pay monthly amounting to 75 php. The attachment is a reference he sent to me.

Hey @Zelvade,

Ah thanks for the screenshot. Sorry for the confusion here! You should be able to subscribe with Globe. I would try doing this on an incognito window or different browser on your PC. If that doesn't work, you can try with another device.

If you still can't see the payment method, I'd suggest you try with another payment method and to contact your mobile provider.

I hope this helps!
