Have to keep restarting app

My Issue

I have to keep restarting the app if I pause music for more than a minute. Spotify seems to crash itself if I pause music then walk away for a minute or so to go do something, which means I can't just come back to my phone and immediately resume playback. Instead, I have to reopen the app and wait about a minute for it to take its sweet time loading. It's so silly that the app can't just stay open until I manually close it, and the whole restart/reopen process is so time-consuming and annoying. My downloaded music library via iTunes doesn't act like this, so it's discouraging me to use Spotify because of how incovenient it's getting.
