SOLVED:

I connected on another laptop and managed to change my country.

Maybe it was the proxy of the office that did not allow me to change, thinking I was in another country...

I found some old discussions about this topic, but still did not solve.

 

As an expat, I always travelled a lot and now I settled for good to Italy.

Just a quick summary on my account history. I always had a free account.

- created in 2010 in UK

- 2011 moved to Spain

- 2012 moved to Switzerland

- 2015 moved to Italy (trying to use my account).

 

I was ALWAYS able to change the country of residence from my profile.

When I try to do it now, from the details of my profile (I am trying from a laptop) like explained here https://support.spotify.com/it/learn-more/faq/#!/article/how-can-i-change-my-country-setting/ I can't change anymore. The menu that allows me to select another country is blank. I can only pick Switzerland, no other options available, and I don't leave there anymore. And I am not going to move back there.

 

Did you change something in the settings of the application and now it's no longer possible to do such changes?

Did I reach the maximum number of country changes?

Do I have to buy a premium license (in case it will allow me to solve the issue for good I can consider the upgrade, but I want to be 100% sure) to solve the problem or is there any way to still use my free account?
