Long Podcast descriptions reset scrolling

My Question or Issue

Podcasts with long desciptions (example: Slow German) do not stay at their currently scrolled levels while that episode is playing. This makes following along with a transcript description impossible.

Steps to recreate bug:

1. Open Slow German podcast (any podcast with a description long enough that requires scrolling)

2. Begin playing an episode

3. Click the description to expand it

4. Scroll down on the description dragging the bar, or with middle mouse wheel

5. Wait between 10 and 20 seconds

6. Observe that the description window is now back at the top.

This has been happening to me for months and I've been trying to ignore it. Now I'm listening to podcasts that have good information in the description and it's impossible to read. Before replying, I just updated Spotify to 1.1.44.538.g8057de92 today and it's still happening.

Our developer team has been made aware of this and they're working on improving the experience. We cannot say when or if this will be solved, but we recommend keeping your app up to date, as software improvements come with every update.
