Spotify for Windows Updates forgets play settings

Solved!

Spotify for Windows Updates forgets play settings

It's most bothersome.

For all my music I have random order of songs and continuous play and with each update it's reset.

Can Spotify remember those settings?

Hey @jiripik,

Thanks for searching for the answer you need here!

Do you mean that your Shuffle and Autoplay settings get reverted after an update of the app? If that's the case it's possible that some of the apps files might have gotten corrupted. Such issues are usually solved by performing a clean reinstall. You can find instructions on how to do this here. Make sure to also restart and unplug your device for a couple of seconds before installing the app anew. This is a simple, but often overlooked step.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted on how it goes.
