This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

The "Shortcuts" section has to be customizable (edit, remove). I don't want to see the covers of podcasts forever, that I checked out once for a few minutes.

Hi,

With the recent updates the home screen has been filling up with more and more sections that I am not interested in. The top section called Good Morning/Afternoon never seems to update and only has one playlist I might want to access from it. I have turned off notifications for new releases etc yet its now taking up the prime spot on the home screen, then there's sections like podcasts that I use very infrequently and I have to scroll down until I find the only section I regularly use. 

Please let us add/remove sections so our home screens are relevant for our use rather than being full with whatever you want to push to us at any given time. If this isn't something you want to implement please let us at least reorder the screen so I place what's relevant to me in the top spot. This is mostly a complaint for the Android App (not sure how it is on iOS) but it now applies to the desktop app too.

Jeremy, over 2 years and over 2 thousands votes, and this issue (abomination) is still Not Right Now.

2 more months of this madness and I'll be cancelling; Apple Music looks more and more tempting because they won't be forcing Daily Horoscopes and, wait, let me see what my latest row of sht is that i'm forced to look at... bear with me.... ok, here we go.... 

... now who in the country of $atan in The Babylon Bee? And why in gods holy fk would I care if what's popular with listeners of who da fk those folks are??  Whose world am i living in?  Who in the land of jesuits are these mofos hawking their wares in a space I pay for???

Why am i constantly waking up to somebody elses homepage????  I pay for this, why are you still advertising podcasts (I fkin hate podcasts).

This is the most ridiculous user experience, especially from an app that used to leave the others in the dust.

Look at my recommended radio, that's quite accurate.  But let me show you what I see on the first row of an app I pay for, these adverts, i'll go in order:

 

Instead of Tweeting:
A couple acting happy, but you can see in the mans eyes that's she's cheating on him, but she's also the breadwinner.

I couldn't give 2 flying fks about Tim, what he talks about, and I hate politics,

I don't smoke anymore, and when i did, i hated cigars, and especially private cigar clubs, why in the name of jesus's balls would i want to listen to a private cigar club d**cks chewing the fat?

Theology Pugcast:
First of all, what da fkkk?  Secondly, pugs are a breed that shouldn't exist.  They were bred to look ugly-cute, but, due to their short snouts, they have high respiratory problems.  Vets have said many times that the huge majority of dogs they see are short snout handbag dogs with problems related to breathing.  I definitely DO NOT want to see this garbage on my paid-for homepage.

Spotify, SORT IT OUT.

Everyone, post the screenshots of what comes up in podcast section of  'your' paid-for homepage, and maybe how accurate they are, or if you even like listening to recorded talk shows (podcasts) on a music app.

Maybe we'll get the attention of a decision maker, because Jeremy just seems to be non-person wanting to do non-things about this issue.
