[All Platforms] Customize Start Screen

This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

Yeah good point ashleyae, if everyone here started a new 'Idea' with maybe #myhomepage to keep it consistent, and post screenshots of their bs podcast-filled home page, it'd be all Spotify see. Because this Idea doesn't even feature on the homepage of Ideas, even though it has over 2302 likes, whereas the highest one here has 875.  I'll do one

What they actually need first is a new moderation team who don't just ignore issues that multiple people are commenting on.

To create a new idea, first you have to search for *something*, in the Spotify Community landing page.

After that you'll see the "Submit a brand new idea" button at the bottom of the results page.

Hi,

Good morning/evening suggestions has become more annoying than it is helpful. It suggests podcast that. What it suggests is so irrelevant to me. I hope spotify will solve this issue and add more control to recent played playlist.

Make the start screen customizable.  I left Apple Music because of the garbage screens that are totally irrelevant to me, was hoping Spotify had a 'clue' and could allow such a menial change, come-on guys, it's a no brainer...

I'll have to keep shopping around for a service in the meantime.

In my car, on my home screen I immediately see Podcasts from Michelle Obama.. this makes me hate Spotify already.

For some reason my Home Screen now has recommendations for a whole line of products by the Obamas such as podcasts and audio books and interviews. I’m not OK with it! I want to be able to customize my Home Screen so as to be able to remove this kind of thing.
