[All Platforms] Customize Start Screen

This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

Yeah, I realise that too (am a software engineer myself), but if it works, it works. And it works, at least for the latest update. As soon as the app acts wonky, I can always repeat the process. But indeed, as you said, this can be done "clean" in a few lines of code.

This isn’t just about customising our home screens. This is about people not wanting to see explicit content suggested on their home screens when they don’t even listen to episodes and talk shows. No one needs things like that shoved in their face when they open your app especially those who have their kids listening to music. Do better Spotify and don’t give your customers a lame excuse of how this isn’t important. It sounds like a lot of people feel the same way. Myself and others have said they will stop using Spotify and cancel their premium if this continues.

I've dropped a line to Spotify Support pointing out that there are so much votes on this topic and yet there is no such feature. Even worse. I am getting weird suggestions on Episodes e.g. "How is it to be a gay in a modern society", "Guys, we've **bleep**ed" podcast, "The art of cunnilingus". Even though I am not against any of this but it is DEFINITELY not what I want to see on my main screen in the first place. 
The answer is as always:

"Implementing new features takes some time and work and, unfortunately, it’s not a feature on the app just yet. Our apologies.

Although it's not something that's due to be released in the near future, we can’t provide any more details about the timeframe."

I guess some sh*tty manager from Youtube Music was fired there and hired here.

At one point, customizing the home screen would have been a nice to have. However, as a subscribing customer I believe it's pretty reasonable of me to request removing pornhub content from my start screen when it's unrequested. As an added bonus, I'm sure you're also displaying this content for my kids.

Simplest fix is removing the Episodes for you from my start screen.
