[All Platforms] Customize Start Screen

This is not a new idea, but I haven't found any practical reply to it, so I think it needs to be repeated. I completely agree with Rennestein (screen capture below), we need to stop seeing irrelevant suggestions because it is annoying. Why can't it be possible to decide what we first see when we open Spotify on any device? (playlists, recently played, artists we're following, etc), and enjoy better our Spotify experience?
Please Spotify, let us have the home screen as we'd like. :)) Thank you!

Seriously, guys. People keep asking for this for several years and still "not now"? This is not a huge feature to implement, if you don't want to spend much time designing a fully configurable starting page, just add a possibility to hide some sections and I think most of the users will be happy with that.

This needs to be prioritized! People want and should be able to customize what they see. I find it very annoying to have all the random suggestions for listening, particularly the podcasts. I have never listened to a podcast in my life. I don't like to listen to people talking. I use Spotify Premium because it has a large selection of music available and I appreciate not having to listen to commercials.

But I should not have to see the face and name of the ridiculously idiotic, sexist, racist, bigoted, and intentional false-information- and hate-spreading egomaniacal a$$h*!e that you guys have put above everyone and everything else on your platform. I get it, people with no actual intelligence or talent that have somehow managed to make a name for themselves for nothing who spread hate and lies and just talk talk talk and try to make it seem like they're the ones looking out for people's rights when really they're the ones calling for more hatred and violence and unnecessary dissension on all topics, just to "stir things up" are really big moneymakers because there are, unfortunately, way too many people with hate in their hearts and not enough intelligence and logic in their brains.

It always brings down my mood when I open Spotify and see him and the other weird podcast suggestions that honestly can be embarrassing when other people see them on your profile because it seems like you are into weird or offensive stuff.

Please get with the times. Pandora has always allowed you to dislike things and remove them from your feed. Spotify needs to step up and add those capabilities as well - most importantly the ability to customize your feed, but you should also allow to dislike songs so that the program learns your likes and dislikes like Pandora does and makes your listening experience way better. 

I may just switch back to Pandora because I know you guys don't care about anything other than Joe Rogan and money.

It is absurd that premium users cannot control what they see in their home screen. I can see you pushing your **bleep** on non paying customers, but if I pay for the content, I should be able to control what I see on my home screen. This ability is needed because spotify does not allow someone to truly unfollow and break ties with a podcast that someone wanted to try out. For instance, i've unfollowed Joe Rogan and never want to see it under "Your Shows" ever again.

There's something really annoying about that, cause every time I run spotify on any device it shows me "p*rn podcasts"... But I've never searched or listened to such things and it's embarrassing...

Why is Spotify recommending podcasters that mean NOTHING to me, and i cannot REMOVE!?!!?

I get it, Spotify and other streaming services want to push their "featured" stuff in our faces and control the "experience"

Those of us who want to make our use of the app efficient and pleasant are out of luck. 

Same goes with Apple Music, Amazon, Pandora... We are forced to see their featured (ad) pages.

Adding my vote - just saying, I signed up yesterday with premium, and I'm already here looking for a feature to remove / hide / declare my non-interest in some items from the home page. 

Implementing this kind of deep reaching feature is hard - if going for a "see less like this" feature, at least - but I believe in the dev team! ❤️

he SPOTIFY wake up to this request and make it happen. I am customers since 2008 and really do not understand you are annoying your paying customers  this way. I could understand you make this an option for paying customers so you can make money pushing free customers to this. But I am really really fed up with this that you can not take podcast or any artist you never listen to popping up. Do we need to move to Deezer ?

MAKE IT HAPPEN ! First request was 2018 wake up it is 2022 !
